So.. What's with all this Italian?

Hello there my non-Italian speaking readers.. If it's not your first time here, you should know I recently rebuilt my blog mostly from scratch, while also switching to Community Server as the site platform. One thing I know about this kind of stuff is that it's usually a lot of work, one other thing is that it's great fun. And one last thing is that it confuses users like nothing else, so here is a quick recap of what the site is right now and what it's going to be in the near future.. But first, let me spend a few words on why I did all of this. I mean, why didn't I replicate the same exact structure and contents as in the "old" zaamit.com?

Well, thanks to those worderful website stats apps out there, I noticed a trend in my traffic (how shocking!). More specifically, even if visitors were more or less equally split between Italian and English speaking (and many more, but I'm not going into that many details here), I did notice that my Italian buddies used to like to chat the most, comment on my blogposts and use the forums, while English speaking fellas seem to like the humble services I provide. Why is that, I have little idea, but that's how it is. So was it a bad idea to make the new "community aspects" of site mostly focused on Italian? I guess not, and that's what I did.

Of course I made sure there was plenty of room for all of you non-Italian speaking people too, so all of the "services" are in English, a forum section is, and this blog is the main landing page for you, you can always reach it via the big button on top, right below the header. Hope it makes more sense now, and I'm always open to suggestions and critics. But most of all, I hope you have a fun time in my humble home. For a start, you could sign up to the site and be automatically included in my brand new personal Xbox Live Leaderboard :)
